Monadnock Wilderness Area Dublin, NH
Monadnock Wilderness is 138 acres of forest land just north of
Mount Monadnock. There is a cleared camping area. Trees were harvested
in 1995, there is slash on the ground off the trail. Monadnock Wilderness
provides easy access to the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway. There is
NO FEE to use Monadnock Wilderness, however, reservations
are required.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
- You must secure a fire permit. Information will be in your confirmation
packet.
- Troops must bring all drinking water and supplies needed for
camping and cooking. Troops using this area should be prepared
for primitive camping: i.e., digging latrines and carrying everything
in to the site.
- Bring enough sturdy garbage bags to take garbage home with you.
There are no dumpsters on site.
