Welcome to Plaistow Girl Scouts

Volunteers in each town or Service Unit (Group of towns that partner up) meet locally

at Service Unit Meetings.  Program planning, workshops, discussion, adult recognition, problem solving, troop organization, resources, idea sharing, etc are some of the activities at a Service Team Meeting.  Volunteers are all welcome.

Plaistow Brownie Blanketeers

IA Plaistow Bronwie Girl Scout Troop organized a blanket drive within the school...asking everyone to drop blankets off at a box that one of the first grade teachers agreed to be responsible for...they then took the blankets to a meeting where they asked a representative from the Linus Project to come and speak and they presented the blankets to her. At the same time they were having their meeting...a quilting club was on the other side of a partition, so the girls joined them and learned all about quilting.  They now want to learn to sew so they can quilt some blankets for the Linus Project.
