Sisters Helping Sisters

Girl Scouts in the Amherst/Mont Vernon service unit along with a New Boston troop reached out to their sister Scouts and their families in the Gulf region. More than 75 bakers provided tables of tasty, tempting "goodies" for the bake sale that netted $880. The girls also made cards with words of encouragement and caring. Proceeds from the sale are being sent to Girl Scouts in Mississippi, Texas, and Louisiana in the form of duffel bags and gift cards. We are sisters to every other Girl Scout!
