Community Spotlight

"Junior Troop 597 and Brownie Troop 2614 had a great time at our Tall and Small winter getaway. We went snowshoeing, and for many, it was their first time. Most of the girls (and women!) did all of Annie's Trail in that big snowstorm. We also built and painted (food color paint) snow sculptures. The girls decided to make a giant snowscout. We took the picture as they started her green vest. We also made smores in the pavilion's fireplace. It was the first time a few of the younger girls had ever made a smore! It was nice to get warm by the fire, then go back out to snowsculpting. We had a great time and really enjoyed Sunset Valley…a very memorable weekend."

Troop 597 and 2544 participate in National Seashore Cleanup	Troop 597 run an eyeglass drive. They collected nearly 200 pair of eyeglasses.
