Windham Girl Scout Community

Community Spotlight

Brownie Troop 471 visited the Salem Animal Shelter. The girls placed boxes around town to collect donations for the animals and then brought a total of 15 shopping bags with all sorts of goodies for the shelter - food, bleach, toys, leashes, kitty litter and towels. The girls toured the shelter and met some of the animals currently living there. They also learned about choosing and caring for a pet.
