How to Calculate Troop Proceeds…

Total boxes sold by Troop ÷ Total number of girls selling = Per girl average. (PGA)

Take the total number of boxes the troop sells (don’t forget to include booth sales!) and divide it by the number of girls selling cookies in the troop between Jan. 4 and Jan. 23, 2008 (during the Initial Order Taking). This will give you the troop average.

Example:

A. Troop 0000 sold 1,500 boxes

B. Troop 0000 has 12 girls selling cookies

C. Divide A by B (1,500/12)

D. Troop 0000’s per girl average is 125 boxes**

E. Once you know the troop's per girl average - use the proceed amount listed in the box above and multiply it by the entire number of packages the troop sold.

F. multiply 1,500 by the corresponding proceeds which is $.60 (1500 x $.60)

G. Troop 0000’s proceeds are $900!!

**THIS AVERAGE MUST BE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF REGISTERED GIRLS SELLING IN THE TROOP BETWEEN JANUARY 4 and JANUARY 23, 2008.
