Fit
for a Princess is a program designed and sponsored by the
National Cattleman's Beef Association to promote Girls' health
and to teach the importance of nutrition and physical activity.
This program directly communicates the Girl Scout commitment

Have fun
and eat in a healthy way! This canned program includes
snack suggestions, recipes, puzzles and great tips for a healthier
you!

Help
celebrate women's history! Step back in time and help celebrate
women's accomplishments with an opportunity to learn by living
it. The focus of this canned program is to acknowledge, honor
and encourage women.

- A Winter Discovery

Program
focuses on outdoor exploration and can be used with or with
out snowshoes. Can be used with earning the Outdoor Adventurer
Try-it or the Frosty Fun Badge.

Turning
Beauty Inside Out
- Juniors and Older Girls
What
is real beauty? Do advertisements reflect what teens
are and what they want or do they play a role in creating
these things? Does the media accurately show what it
means to be a female in today’s world? This media-literacy
patch program offers girls (Junior age-level and Older) activities
and information to begin exploring the teen magazines
and music that help to shape our definitions of body image
and self-esteem. Available at all 5 Regional Offices. |

Brick Road - All
ages
Using the
characters from the Wizard of Oz, this canned program offers
herat healthy tips, self-esteem building games, and brain
games. This program is for girls of all ages and is best utilized
in an outdoor or large indoor setting.

- All ages
This
special patch program is a collaboration between Swift Water
Council and the Zink the Zebra Foundation, Inc. It is designed
to teach children and adults the importance of understanding,
respect, compassion, and acceptance. Check out this cool program,

These
are developed by GSSWC with patch requirements and activity
suggestions for all age level troops and
groups or individually registered scouts. Packets are available
at the Service Center reception desk or from Kathy
x 154. You can download and print many of the Patch Programs Packets by clicking on the Program Name. All of these programs have patches, and some
even have add-on mini patches so they can be done year after year! |

ages
This
program will help you "Be Your Best" while you are
lending a helping hand. Choose an organization that helps
others (i.e. animal shelters, American Red cross, Salvation
Army, Nursing Homes, etc.). Plan your own activities to bring
out the best in each of you. |

Sister to Sister Patch Program- All ages
As we move forward towards the creation of one council serving New Hampshire and Vermont, a group of volunteers and staff have created a new patch program so that we can get to know each other. It is designed to help girls, leaders, and troops make new friends and learn about what is unique and similar between two councils.
